changes.AWARD 2018
 
The changes.AWARD is a competition designed to inspire students on sustainability and to encourage them to develop and present new ideas and innovations. It is organised by the friends and sponsors of the Industrial Museum Cromford e. V. and the German Branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V.. On 17th June 2018, the winners of this year's competition had been announced. Jury and audience were thrilled by the creativity and joy of the stundents as well as the fantastic project results.

Mitsubishi Electric MELFA RV-2FRL Robot - Mirage Autonomously Guided Vehicle (AGV) Solution
 
Mitsubishi Electric and Mirage’s latest autonomous robot / AGV project could offer the ultimate solution to maximising productivity and flexibility on the factory floor. The solution is described and shown in a short video which you will find on our YouTube channel.

New new SCADA (MAPS) version
 
MAPS (Mitsubishi Adroit Process Suite) is Mitsubishi Electric's Life-Cycle Engineering, SCADA, HMI, Alarm Management and intelligent reporting solutions. The new MAPS 4 version comes with great new features and improvements among which there are a new and modern look-and-feel, OPC UA support, and functionalities to support IOT and network management. One of the most powerful new features is the so-called Object Model.

The Automation Book gives you a good overview of solutions and services provided by Mitsubishi Electric. Furthermore, and maybe even more important, it contains a second part - the "Technical Information Section". This section has just been updated with our latest products and can be downloaded from our website.
